Term 3 Reports/Teacher Feedback

Term 3 Reports/Teacher Feedback

A reminder to all parents that now is a great time to visit your child’s e-Portfolio.  The students have all been uploading examples of their learning into their blogs.  Teachers have also been very busy writing the latest reports about your child’s progress and achievement.  If you’re not sure how to check your child’s e-Portfolio please check out the instructions at https://goo.gl/28b0tO, talk to your child’s teacher or contact Belinda Johnston (belinda@elmpark.school.nz) for help.

Year 3 Trip to Te Tuhi

Dear Parents/Caregivers
Year 3 Trip to Te Tuhi

We have been advised that we will not able to attend our session this term due to a bereavement within the Te Tuhi teaching staff. We will try to make another time next term and we’ll advise you later this term.

Thank you to those parents who offered to help, hopefully you will still be able to accompany us on our next visit.

Koanga Festival at Elim Christian College

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our Kapa Haka team performance on Saturday at the Koanga Festival at Elim Christian College. They were outstanding. Well done everyone.
Thank you Mrs Plowright

Digital Learning @ EPS
All students are given a Google account login upon enrolling at Elm Park School and this gives students access to Google Drive, email, blogs and sites.  Unless the school is advised otherwise in writing, all students enrolled at Elm Park School will regularly upload their work to their e-Portfolio blog and other sites that are viewable to the public.  This may also include their first name and image.  This is common practice across many New Zealand schools and aligns with Ministry of Education guidelines.  Our school uses Network for Learning filtering provided by the Ministry of Education and our teachers closely monitor student use of Google accounts with Hapara Teacher Dashboard.  If there are any serious issues with student use of their Google account or a device we will inform parents immediately.
